FAQs

Does EZStation utilize a computers GPU?
Yes. EZStation can utilize a computer on board graphics or a dedicated nVidia GPU.

 

Can I use EZCloud on the EZStation?
Yes. Under the Device Management menu select "Cloud Devices" on the left and then log into your cloud account.

 

Can I view multiple locations on one live view window?
Yes. Cameras can be opened from any location in and order, even mixing locations, as long as the camera is online.

 

Can custom views be setup?
Yes. Users can set up any view in any style that they want including changing channel slot sizes and more.

 

What is the default login / How do I log into EZStation?
The default login for the EZStation software is Username: admin and Password: 123456. The inital login screen is for the EZStation software itself and not for the recorder or EZCloud.

I forgot my EZStation password. How do I reset the password to get back in?
If the password to the EZStation software is forgotten the software will need to be uninstalled and the reinstalled.

 

I am getting a "Not enough memory error" how can I fix this?
Not enough memory error occures when the software is running on a computer that does not meet the required software specs or when the computer has the 32-Bit version of the EZStation installed but should have the 64-Bit verison.

 

I am getting a "Media Stream not ready" error how can i fix this?
This error occurs remotely when the RTSP port (554 by default) is not port forwarded, or not opened correctly. This error can occur on a local network when the device has a conflicting IP address, is on a different subnet, is going though a firewall, or the device is in need of a reboot.
